Hagan Gallery is conceived as a contemporary urban village: an interconnected collection of residences, gardens, retail, dining, and gathering spaces designed to be walkable, layered, and deeply integrated into the rhythm of Wedgewood-Houston.
At street level, a curated mix of best-in-category fashion, wellness, dining, and boutique services brings the project's design philosophy to life, while a limited collection of 9 residences are set quietly above, each home shaped by the same discipline evident in every threshold, junction, and material choice below it.

Hastings' design for Hagan Gallery is organized around the relationship between built form and open space. The architecture frames movement through the site, using passageways, terraces, planted edges, and carefully proportioned facades to create a layered experience at ground level and above. Rather than relying on ornament, the project finds its character through massing, material, rhythm, and the calibrated spaces between public activity and private retreat.

The scale, proportion, and materiality of the architecture is a celebration of the space between—creating an ecosystem open to explore, linger, or find respite.

Anchored by a central garden courtyard and café, the retail experience unfolds as a walkable, landscaped enclave within Wedgewood-Houston. Tucked away from the neighborhood's main thoroughfare, Hagan Gallery invites visitors to slow down, explore, and engage with retail not just as a display, but as an experience.
Just as an artist's work transforms a gallery, the retailers and restaurateurs within Hagan Gallery bring its vision to life. Each tenant has been chosen not just for what they offer, but for what they contribute to the larger composition, altogether forming an evolving showcase of high design, taste, and character.
